Unicorns Of The Black River

Terror struck through Ivy [not the horse Terror], and she raced over to Snow, not caring if the other unicorns harmed her. She sniffed the dead mare and narrowed her eyes. "We do not kill our own kind." She was enraged. "Especially our kin. Onl a dark unicorn beyond no compare does that. And you two have proven you are."

Death snorted and ignored the mare. ''Light unicorns are no use to us'' she muttered, ''They only get in the way'' she said, her horn dripping with blood.


''You have a problem with it?'' Terror said, with a loud kind of tone, like a dragons`.''If you were truley dark, you woulden't care now would you...'' she said, and suddenly dissapeered.

Glow looked at the mare, he forlock covering her eyes, she looked at the other unicorns and at Flame, she nickered gently and quietly to him before galloping away.

Flame sighed, he looked at them, he lowered his head and snorted softly, he pawed at the snow lightly.

"Well," Ivy fired, "If you were truly a dark unicorn, you wouldn't care what I said." She knew that they disappeared but she still spoke her mind. She turned back to Flame. "Where did that mare go? And who is she?"

''I do not care idiot'' Death said and snorted. She continued walking, into the forest, to the river. Lowering her muzzle to it.

Terror appeared infront of her. And snorted.

"I don't know where she went, and she is Glow, Glowing Scars, my sister," He replied.

Glow skidded to a halt by the river, she looked down, she saw no reflection stasring back at her, she sighed and took a step back.

Death raised her ears from her head and looked at Glow.

Terror snorted low toned and lowered her skull to the water, locking it with her long toung. Then looked at her non reflecting reflection.

Glow flicked her ears forward, she looked at Death, she didn't do anything, she looked back at the black water.

Ivy's eyes narrowed at Death's sharp words but ignored them and turned back to Flame. "Glow," she repeated. "I don't have any siblings. Just my father, Silas. Another unicorn killed my mother...She wasn't a dark unicorn, though. I don't know what she was..."

Flame looked down, "Oh," he said, not exactly knowing what to say. He thought about saying something about Glow, but didn't mention anything, he sighed lightly.

Terror and death snorted.

Just then, as if he had heard her, Silas appeared. Ivy sighed and painfully looked at Flame. "Here he comes."

Silas's eyes glowed a light red, usually what they did when he was mad. Practically always. "Ivy, what are you doing? You left without telling me!" His deep, harsh voice rumbled. "I thought you said you wouldn't wander."

Ivy looked up at the taller unicorn. She took a step back nervously. "I am a loner now, Silas." She never called him "father". It was always "Silas".

Death snorted and walked through the river carefully, her horn glowing.

Terror slowly made it foggy, then sighed, walking oppasite direction.

Flame looked at Silas, he didn't do anything, he sighed and snorted softly.

Glow sighed and started galloping through the forest again.

"A loner?" Silas echoed, enraged. "I won't hear of it." He turned to Flame. "And I'm sure you have something to do with this, don't you?"

"He doesn't have anything to do with this." Ivy said bluntly. "It is my desision."

Silas snorted. "Do as you wish," he belowed. "But if you get hurt, don't say it was me who told you to run off." With that, he took off, his big black hooves kicking up dirt and dust.

Ivy sighed and turned to Flame. "I'm sorry. He just doesn't get it." She shook her head, closing her eyes. Ivy soon opened them and blinked.

"I understand," Flame said, he sighed as the snow slowed.

Glow slowed to a trot, she stood behind a tree and saw Ivy and Flame.

eclipse slowly walked through the snow covered forest,ice everywhere she looked.Breath visible. Her black coat gleamed as her mane and tail rippled in the cold yet dry air. Her horn forwards, and spiraled to a shrp point, her eyes blue and filled with sorrow. She was quiet, and didin't talk much.

Ivy nodded. She watched the snow fall and surpressed a shiver. "He thinks he can control me." She sighed again and picked up one of her hooves. It was cracked. Probably from runnng, she thought. She painfully dropped her hoof with a small moan, hoping the Flame didn't hear her.

Glow looked at them, she watched them.

Flame looked at her, his ears pricked, he looked at her, "You ok?" he asked.

Eclipse fliced her ears at a groan type noise, she quickly shifted her weight in the direction it came from. HEr hooves pounded against the cold ground, but then bluntly skidded to a hault and lookd at the unicorn, and fire unicorn. She snorted low toned, forelock over her blue eyes, tail cascaded to the ground.

Ivy blinked in surprise. "No," she admitted, looking at her hoof again. "Well, I think I split my hoof but I'm sure it could've been worse, right?" She then saw another unicorn and wasn't sure of what to make of her. "Look," she whispered and flicked her ears in the direction of the unicorn.

"I guess," Flame said, then looked at where she directed. He nickered to the other unicorn.

Glow flicked her ears back, she kept quiet, not sure which unicorn, she took a step back.

Eclipse was quiet, and woulden't speak, her hooves were platinum silver, and coulden't crack. She lowered her horn to the mare's cracked hoof, and healed it immedietly, then raised her head, flipping her long forelock from her eyes.
