Justin looked at her and smiled, and then looked back out into the pasture."Moon," he said softly. Moon pricked his hears at the mention of his name and trotted over, nuzzling Scarlet and lipping at her hair.

Scarlet smiled at Justin and softly laughed at Moon. "I'm guessing he likes me," she said to Justin, handing Moon another carrot. "Was that what you wanted?"

Moon bobbed his head and gave a face that looked like a smile as he munched on the carrot. Justin smiled and laughed.

Scarlet laughed and pat Moon's head. She turned to Justin. "Why're you so quiet?" She joked.

Justin shrugged, not looking at her. He watched Moon, sighing.

"Are you okay?" Scarlet asked, concerned. "You don't look too good. You tired?"

"I'm fine," he said, not moving, just standing with one foot on the ground, the other on the pasture gate. Moon and Frost galloped side by side all through the pasture.

Scarlet's eyes clouded with worry but she returned her gaze back at the pasture. "Are you sure?"

Shadow watched Moon and Frost and raced after the two, his strong, little legs carrying him swiftly across the pasture.

Sky started in a choppy trot but continued after Shadow in a wobbly canter and soon a slow gallop. "Wait up!" She called and galloped faster.

Justin simple nodded. He walked into the barn and let himself fall and a bale of straw. Sighing, he closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.

Scarlet followed Justin and peeked into the barn. "Told you you were sleepy."

Justin sighed out of annoyence. He kept his eyes closed and put his hands behind his head.

Scarlet rolled her eyes, and walked over to where Shadow and Sky's two stalls were. She took out a pen and wrote their names on each pad and sat down on a hay bale.

Justin looked at her and laughed, before closing his eyes again.

Scarlet smiled, shaking her head. She walked over to Justin and took a seat on a hay bale next to Justin. Not wanting to disturb him, she laid down, using a few bales to lay down on. She closed her eyes and opened them once and awhile to look at Justin.

Justin smiled,"What could you possibly want now?" he asked boredly..still not opening his eyes.

Scarlet laughed. "Nothing. I'm just tired." She yawned. "I stayed up late trying to get ready for this place."

Justin stopped smiling and rolled over, thinking.

Scarlet opened her eyes and watched Justin silently. "Something wrong?"

Justin rolled back over on the straw, pretending to snore and smiling.

Scarlet laughed and rested her chin on her palms. "Do you do this alot?"

Justin opened one eye,"DO what?"

Scarlet laughed again. "Nothing. Do you do nothing alot?"

"Yep," he said, trying to go to sleep.

Scarlet smiled. "Just tell me if I'm being annoying."

Justin remained quiet.
